Day 1: Departure from Kerala to the Foothills of Palani

Stand at the narrow sand spit where the calm waters of the Indian Ocean meet the rough waves of the Bay of Bengal, and view the ruins of the old railway station and church left behind by the 1964 cyclone.
In the afternoon, we board our private coach to begin our return journey back to Kerala. Sit back and relax on the drive through Madurai and Palakkad, with our coach arriving back at Ernakulam around midnight.
