Day 1: July 10 – Arrival in the Paradise of Srinagar
Flight to Paradise & Evening Rest
Your spiritual adventure begins bright and early at the Cochin International Airport (Domestic Terminal), where you will report at 07:00 AM. We board our 09:30 AM flight, flying from Cochin to Srinagar with a layover in Hyderabad. You will touch down in Srinagar at 03:05 PM, where our team will warmly receive you and transfer you to your comfortable hotel. Enjoy a delicious dinner and an overnight stay in Srinagar as you acclimatize to the mountain air.
Traveler’s Note: Hydrate well upon arrival! Adjusting to the altitude early is key for a comfortable pilgrimage in the coming days.
Day 2: July 11 – Ascending to the Heavens
Helicopter Ride to Panchatharni
After a morning breakfast, we proceed to the helipad for an exhilarating journey. You will take a scenic helicopter ride up to Panchatharni, situated at an awe-inspiring altitude of 3657 meters. Tonight, you will experience the rugged beauty of the Himalayas with a tented accommodation stay at Panchatharni.
Pro-Tip: Pack light but warm for the overnight tent stay. Temperatures at 3657 meters drop significantly after sunset!
Day 3: July 12 – The Sacred Amarnath Darshan
Trek to the Holy Cave & Return to Srinagar
Today is the most profound day of the journey. We embark on a 6 KMS trek to the Amarnath Holy Cave. The walking time from Panchatharni to the Holy cave is approximately 2 hours one way. For those who prefer not to walk, ponies and palkies are readily available at Panchatharni (direct payment).
After your sacred Darshan, we trek back to Panchatharni and take a return helicopter journey down to Baltal. From Baltal, we travel by road back to Srinagar for a well-deserved dinner and overnight stay.
Traveler’s Note: Remember that helicopter bookings depend strictly on availability from the Amarnath Shrine Board. If seats become unavailable, alternative facilities like walking, horse rides, or Dolly are used, and helicopter charges will be refunded.
Day 4: July 13 – Exploring Srinagar’s Charm
Temples, Mughal Gardens, and Shikara Rides
With the pilgrimage complete, today is dedicated to exploring the cultural gems of Srinagar. Your Srinagar city tour includes a visit to the historic Shankaracharya Hill Temple and a stroll through the vibrant Grand Mughal Gardens. In the evening, unwind with a peaceful 1-hour Shikara Ride on the world-famous Dal Lake. Today’s meal plan includes Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
