We start with an early morning darshan at the magnificent seaside Tiruchendur Murugan Temple. From the coast, we travel inland to visit the rock-cut wonders of the Tirupparankundram Murugan Temple. Next, we soak in the forested serenity of Pazhamuthir Cholai. Our day of devotion concludes with a visit to the Swamimalai Murugan Temple before we proceed to our hotel. We will spend the night enjoying a comfortable overnight stay in Kumbakonam.
Pro-Tip: South Indian temples enforce a strict dress code. Men are often required to remove their upper garments and wear a dhoti, while women should wear sarees, half-sarees, or modest ethnic wear with a dupatta. Keep an easily foldable dhoti handy in your daypack!

Day 4: Fire and Devotion – Tiruttani to Salem

After an awe-inspiring visit, we will continue our drive to Salem, where we will check in for a relaxing overnight stay at Salem.
Pro-Tip: The Arunachaleswarar Temple is massive, spanning several acres. Stay hydrated, pace yourself, and consider opting for special darshan tickets if the general queues are long, which our Tour Manager can help arrange at an additional cost.
Day 5: The Hilltop Shrine – Salem to Ernakulam
Our final day takes us to one of the most famous hilltop shrines in India before we journey home.
