Day 1: Arrival at Bagdogra & Overland Journey to Gangtok

Arrival & Mountain Transit

Arrive at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) by 02:00 PM. Meet your Team Yathri representative and begin the mountain drive to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim (5,412 ft / 1,650 m; approx. 130 km, 4 to 5 hours drive). Upon reaching Gangtok, check into your hotel, unwind, and enjoy a warm dinner. Overnight stay in Gangtok. (Meal Plan: Dinner)

Day 2: High-Altitude Excursion – Tshangu Lake, Baba Mandir & Nathula Pass

High Mountain Passes & Sacred Sites

After breakfast, set out on a full-day mountain excursion:

Tshangu Lake (Tsomgo Lake): Travel up to 12,400 ft (3,780 m; approx. 43 km / 2 hours drive) to admire this glacier lake surrounded by rugged mountains.
New Baba Mandir: Continue 18 km further to 13,100 ft (3,994 m) to pay homage at the shrine dedicated to Indian Army soldier Harbhajan Singh.
Nathula Pass: Ascend to 14,137 ft (4,310 m) at the historic Indo-China Border pass along the ancient Silk Route.
