Mansarovar Parikrama & Drive to Darchen
We begin with a 102 km Parikrama of Mansarovar Lake by vehicle, taking around 3 hours. Here, you can take a holy bath and perform Pujas (prayer rituals or Homa). Later, we drive 58 km (1.5 hours) to Darchen (4600m) for an overnight stay.
Pro-Tip: Indian pilgrims are strictly advised against wearing Saris during the Yatra; opt for warm trousers and comfortable Gore-Tex winter wear instead.

Yamdwar Darshan & Trek to Diraphuk
After a short drive to Yamdwar, the official starting point of the Kora, we begin our 12 km trek (7-8 hours) to Diraphuk (4860m). Along the route, crossing the west face of Mt. Kailash, you will get a magnificent view of the mountain’s North face.
Traveler’s Note: This is where the physical challenge truly begins. Utilize your trekking poles and ensure your day pack only contains essentials like water, sunscreen, and your camera.
Day 10: Conquering the Pass
Dolma-La Pass to Zutalphuk
This is the most challenging day of the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra! We trek 22 km over 12 hours, ascending to the Dolma-La Pass at a breathtaking altitude of 5630m. From there, we descend to Gauri Kund and follow the river to Zutalphuk (4600m) for our overnight stay.
Pro-Tip: Exhaustion and breathlessness are common here. Walk at a slow, steady pace, and notify our experienced team leader immediately if you feel unwell; we carry oxygen cylinders and a First Aid kit.
Day 11: Completing the Kora
Trek to Darchen & Drive to Saga
We finish our Parikrama with a short 8 km trek (2 hours) to meet our luxury coach. We then drive to Darchen to merge with any members who rested during the trek, before driving onwards to Saga for the night.
