Day 1: June 10 – Arrival in Delhi & The Journey Begins
Welcome & Drive to Kathgodam
Your spiritual journey kicks off as you arrive at the Delhi railway station or airport by 3:00 PM. From there, we proceed by road to Kathgodam, which takes approximately 6 hours. You will enjoy a delicious dinner and an overnight stay in Kathgodam.
Traveler’s Note: Rest well during the drive! You are transitioning to higher altitudes, so staying hydrated from day one is crucial for your comfort.
Day 2: June 11 – Ascending to Pithoragarh
Scenic Mountain Drive
After a hearty morning breakfast, we depart from Kathgodam and make our way to Pithoragarh, a journey of about 6 hours. We will check into our hotel upon arrival. Enjoy your meals (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner) and rest up with an overnight stay in Pithoragarh.
Pro-Tip: Keep your camera handy! The winding roads to Pithoragarh offer spectacular views of the lush Kumaon valleys.
Day 3: June 12 – Securing the Gateway at Dharchula
Inner Line Permits
We start early in the morning and drive to Dharchula. Because we will be traveling extremely close to the international border of Nepal, we must complete the necessary paperwork for our Innerline permits upon reaching Dharchula. You will enjoy all three meals today and spend the night in Dharchula.
Traveler’s Note: Ensure you have your original Identity Proof (Aadhar, Indian Passport, or Voter ID) and two colored passport-size photos readily accessible in your day bag for the permit processing.
Day 4: June 13 – Entering the High Himalayas to Nabi
The Beautiful Base Camp
Following breakfast, we move towards the simply beautiful village of Nabi. En-route, we will visit stunning natural villages like Chialekh, Garbyang, Gunji, and Napalchu. Nabi serves as the base camp for Adi Kailash, offering a profound experience of Himalayan culture and divine gravity. We will have an overnight stay at a local Home Stay in Nabi.
Pro-Tip: Embrace the local culture! Home stays in the Himalayas are a beautiful way to connect with the warm, resilient people who call these mountains home.
Day 5: June 14 – The Miracle of Om Parvat
Sacred Darshan
Wake up early for an awe-inspiring visit to Om Parvat, a drive of approximately 2 hours from our base. Here, you will witness a true “Miracle of Nature” where the snow naturally forms the shape of the sacred “Om” on the mountain. Take time to meditate and feel the blessings of Shiva. Later, subject to permission, we will visit Kalapani before returning to Nabi village for the night.
Traveler’s Note: The wind near Om Parvat can be piercing. Dress in warm, windproof layers to comfortably enjoy your meditation and darshan.
Day 6: June 15 – Trekking to Adi Kailash (Jyolingkong)
Parikrama and Cultural Immersion
Today is the main trekking day! Early in the morning, we drive to Adi Kailash. You will participate in the parikrama of the sacred Parvati Sarovar, which involves a 2km trek depending on your fitness level. Close your eyes and absorb the powerful energy of Lord Shiva. Due to the high altitude, our stay here is brief. We return to Nabi village for an evening cultural program to understand the local Himalayan lifestyle, followed by an overnight stay.
Pro-Tip: Pace yourself during the 2km trek to Parvati Sarovar. Walk slowly, take deep breaths, and let the mountain guide assist you if needed.
Day 7: June 16 – Return to Dharchula & Border Exploration
Leisure and Shopping
After breakfast, we make our descent back to Dharchula. You will have the evening free to cross over, visit Nepal, and do some local shopping. We will have dinner and an overnight stay at our hotel in Dharchula.
Traveler’s Note: The local markets across the bridge in Nepal are fantastic for picking up unique souvenirs and traditional woolen goods!
Day 8: June 17 – Discovering Patal Bhuvaneswar
The Mystical Cave
Today we drive to the fascinating Patal Bhuvaneswar. You will explore the ancient, mystical cave temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Afterward, we will check into the Ashram for an overnight stay.
Pro-Tip: The descent into the Patal Bhuvaneswar cave is steep and narrow. Wear comfortable, non-slip footwear and leave bulky bags in your vehicle.
Day 9: June 18 – Divine Stops on the way to Nainital
Temples and Lakes
Following breakfast, we proceed towards the beautiful hill station of Nainital. Along the way, we will make spiritual stops at Bhimtal, the famous Neem Karoli Baba temple at Kainchi Dham, and the Goluji Temple. We will spend the night in Nainital.
Traveler’s Note: Kainchi Dham is highly revered and can be crowded. Keep a respectful silence and enjoy the peaceful vibrations of the ashram.
Day 10: June 19 – Scenic Nainital to Delhi
Homeward Bound
Take the morning to rest and enjoy Nainital until noon. In the afternoon, we will begin our road journey back to Delhi, where we will check in for an overnight stay.

Day 11: June 20 – Departure from Delhi
